Burnis L Bond ( Bernie ) was a son of
Burnis ( Bernie ) Bond was selected from the Marines to be one of
the members of a Marine Whale Boat Racing Team.
It has been recorded that this Whale Boat Race Team won every one of the
Pacific Fleet Races they were in, except one.
Bernie, lost his life serving our Country at Pearl Harbor. He has been
remembered where he was born at Wiggins MS. by his Family and many Friends.
